Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wally Markberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markberg comes to the cage accompanied by Public Enemy - Rebel Without A Pause. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lawson's choice of entrance music: Wait and Bleed by Slipknot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Markberg shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Markberg takes one on the button.
Markberg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Markberg shoots for a double leg takedown but Lawson sprawls well. He's pushed Markberg's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Markberg was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Markberg lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lawson backwards.
Lawson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Markberg is defending well for now.
