Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Evan Zoplias!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoplias darts in trying to clinch
and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Zoplias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johnson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Zoplias keeps moving.
Zoplias wants to stand but Johnson is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Our spies down at at White's ELITE Fitness Gym inform us that Zoplias has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Zoplias wants to get back to his feet but Johnson passes into half guard.

Zoplias is trying to stand up here but Johnson is controlling him well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Johnson is keen to just control but Zoplias is a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Zoplias tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Zoplias moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
Zoplias misses with some punches.

Zoplias lands a right hand that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.

Johnson decides to pull guard.

Zoplias wants to stand and escape but instead Johnson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Johnson trying to control but Zoplias is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Johnson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Zoplias screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Johnson! Nice submission victory there!
