Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richard Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BaklaN Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ko clinches up with Park and pushes him back against the cage.
Ko throws a head punch that misses.
Park really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Park is trying to break the clinch but Ko is controlling him.
Ko has Park pressed against the cage, preventing Park from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Park blocks an uppercut.
Park blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ko lands with a right to the head.

Park jumps into guard, dragging Ko to the mat.
Ko preventing the sweep.
Park wants to get back to his feet but Ko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Park on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Park tries to get out of the position.
Ko is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Park controls Ko momentarily but Ko frees himself.

Park moves into the clinch successfully.

Ko swings wildly with an uppercut but Park uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ko throws a punch but it's blocked by Park.
Park looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Ko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ko has a couple of punches blocked by Park.

Park is looking to break free of the clinch but Ko has double underhooks.

Park is trying to trip Ko. He has hold of a leg but Ko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Park persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Park is fending him off so far but Ko persists. Nope, Park circles away and we're back to standing.
And Park counters with a quick kick to the body but Ko blocks it.
Ko shoots in for a takedown but Park shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Park to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Park wants to control from the top but Ko keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

BaklaN Ko dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Park gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ko regains guard.

Ko manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Park keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Ko sneaks out the side door and pushes Park away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
We've been informed that Ko has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

BaklaN Ko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
