Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pulover Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teixeira has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Pulover Teixeira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout slips a jab and a cross from Teixeira.
Teixeira displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stout.

Stout manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Teixeira on his heels. He'll look to pass Teixeira's guard now, I'm sure.
Teixeira looks winded!

Teixeira is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stout postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stout stops Teixeira from standing up.
Teixeira is looking to sweep but instead, Stout has passed into half guard.
Stout really is a fat lump.

Stout working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Stout postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Teixeira to stand up.

Stout creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Teixeira tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Stout looking to secure an arm triangle but Teixeira defends it well.

Teixeira defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Stout.

Stout is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Teixeira has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Teixeira is trying to stand up.
Stout scoring with strikes but Teixeira is staying in there.
Stout lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Stout is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Teixeira to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Teixeira shrugs it off.
Teixeira is trying to stand up.

Teixeira tries to improve his position but Stout has taken his back! Stout has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Teixeira tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Stout pushes Teixeira away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
