PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Krystian Gromadowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gromadowski comes to the cage accompanied by Południowy Szaman. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Krystian Gromadowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Truck!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gromadowski gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Gromadowski moves into the clinch.
Gromadowski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Truck has him pressed against the cage.

Gromadowski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gromadowski is looking to clinch but Truck is avoiding it.
Gromadowski works over Truck's head and body with a nice combination.
Truck ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gromadowski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Truck swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Truck is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gromadowski.
Truck keeps the fight on the outside.

Gromadowski clinches up with Truck and pushes him back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Truck controlling the action here for a moment.

Gromadowski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gromadowski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Truck connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gromadowski scrambles back to his feet.
Truck wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gromadowski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gromadowski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Truck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Truck connects with a nice looking jab.
Truck thumps Gromadowski with a low kick.
Truck misses with a low kick.
Gromadowski on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Truck clobbers Gromadowski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gromadowski wants to clinch but Truck slips to the side
and Truck cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Krystian Gromadowski has been cut.
Truck has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Gromadowski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gromadowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Truck cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Gromadowski is rocked!
Gromadowski closes the distance looking to clinch
and Truck counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gromadowski's knee momentarily.
Truck looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gromadowski moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Oh Gromadowski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Truck is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Gromadowski hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
