Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Law fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rios to the ground. Law is now in Rios's guard.
Law is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Law passes Rios's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Law tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Rios wants to improve his position but Law is controlling well.
Law stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rios wants to control but Law is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Law is taking a breather. Rios says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Law not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Law is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Rios is looking to improve his position.
Law drops an elbow to the side of Rios's head.
Law missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Law seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Law tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Law keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Law connects with a nice short shot to Rios's temple.
Law slows the pace down in half guard.
Law is nestled in close to Rios, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Law is working for a submission of some sort.
Rios wants to control but Law passes into side.

Law tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Law has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rios is trying to get back to his feet.
Rios is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Law's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Law throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Law tries to stand and escape but Rios is controlling the position.
Law is looking to stall here but Rios recovers full guard.
Law stays in close to Rios's body and controls the position.

Law wants to control from the top but Rios keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Law keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Law feints and as Rios raises his hands in defense, Law changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Law throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rios works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Law is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rios is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Law closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rios quickly recovers to half guard.
Damien Law has got the better of the ground game so far.
Law lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Rios slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Law wants to pass the guard but Rios is keeping the position.
Rios trying to control the position here.
Rios bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Law's guard.

Rios wants to control from the top but Law keeps moving.

Law looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Law is trying to control the position but Rios postures up.
Rios trying to control but Law is working from the bottom.
Rios has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Law is looking for a triangle but Rios pushes his legs off easily.
Law thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Rios is standing up over Law. Law looks to escape but Rios dives into side control.
Law manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Rios is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Law scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Law is thwarting Rios's attempts to control the position.

Damien Law showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Law shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rios connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Law bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rios is looking for a sweep.
Law is looking to take a break and control but Rios is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Law is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

You can see the frustration on Rios's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rios tries to bench press Law off him but Law keeps the position.
Rios is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Law tries to advance to mount but can't.
Rios trying his best to control but Law has mounted him.
Law is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rios can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Rios takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Law's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
