PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Brandon Baldwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Hitman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman misses with a left hand
and Hitman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hitman buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Baldwin looks to land a combination but Hitman avoids it well.
Hitman swats away the attempt to clinch by Baldwin.

Hitman feints and then cracks Baldwin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Baldwin down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hitman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Baldwin. That did some damage!

Baldwin clips Hitman with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Hitman a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Hitman lands a nice looking kick to the body. Baldwin takes a step back to recover.

Hitman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baldwin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brandon Baldwin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Baldwin counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Hitman on his ass! Hitman wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

Hitman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and as Hitman takes a moment to reset, Baldwin counters with a massive combo! Right, left, right! Hitman goes down! He's in big trouble, can he recover? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10. He's out! Baldwin is your winner!

In his post fight interview, Brandon Baldwin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
