The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeboah shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Komumpo looks to land a combination but Yeboah avoids it well.
Yeboah throws a big counter combination but Komumpo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Yeboah on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A punch lands to the side of Yeboah 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Yeboah ducks right into an uppercut from Komumpo.

Yeboah has closed the distance and engaged Komumpo in a clinch.
Komumpo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Yeboah breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Komumpo lands with a shot to the body.
Yeboah fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Komumpo avoids it really well and circles away.
A left lands for Komumpo.
Yeboah shoots in for a takedown but Komumpo shows good takedown defense.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Komumpo! But no joy.

Komumpo scores with a hook to the body. Yeboah takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Yeboah has been working on his balance at Island Top Team, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Komumpo.

Komumpo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yeboah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hadji Komumpo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yeboah doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Yeboah drops his hands momentarily and Komumpo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Komumpo lands with a right hand.
Komumpo closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Yeboah! Komumpo dives in looking to finish! Yeboah is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
