Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Da Silva and Haislan Garcia. Da Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garcia has gone for a leg lock! Da Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Garcia's guard.

Garcia drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Da Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Garcia has Da Silva in his guard.

Garcia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Da Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Leonardo Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Garcia misses the shot to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Garcia crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Da Silva - the referee stops the clock and Garcia gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Da Silva. Garcia manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Garcia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Da Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Garcia.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Garcia is keen to just control but Da Silva is a slippery customer.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Garcia working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Garcia wants to pass to mount but Da Silva is defending the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leonardo Da Silva will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Garcia will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
