The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Divnich misses with a body kick.
Kass was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Kass throws a body punch but Divnich moves out of range.
Maxim Divnich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kass takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Divnich takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Kass drops Divnich with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Divnich looks back up at him and smiles so Kass waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That has opened up Maxim Divnich's cut even more.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Divnich fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kass manages to avoid it.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Divnich in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Maxim Divnich's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Divnich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kass stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kass lands a big uppercut and Divnich crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Divnich looks OK. Kass waves Divnich back to his feet!
