Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Waylon Cline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cline on his heels. He'll look to pass Cline's guard now, I'm sure.
King chips away with some ground and pound.
Cline pulls King in close to his closed guard and prevents King from doing any damage or advancing position.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Cline is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
King stands up from Cline's guard - King perhaps looking for a knockout.
Cline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cline closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Cline pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cline moves in looking to clinch but King pushes him off.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cline as he avoids it easily.
Cline is on the wrong end of a nice combination from King.

Cline breaks from the clinch.
Cline throws the left hand but King avoids the punch easily.
Cline moves into range and clinches up with King.
King is pressed up against the cage. Cline has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Cline gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows King to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cline has his feet on King's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
King clinches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King wants the takedown. Cline is fighting it off but King persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cline's guard against the cage.
Cline wriggles free and stands up.
King gets tackled into the cage by Cline. Cline maintains the clinch.
King has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
King avoids a wild elbow strike from Cline.
King is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
King works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

King postures up in Cline's guard and throws a big left but Cline blocks it.
Cline wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
King shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cline defends it nicely.
Cline avoids the head kick by King.
Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Cline on that attempt.

King has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cline wants to break free but King has control.
King turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Cline bucks up and tries to throw King off but instead King has got his back!
King tries to keep control of the position but Cline is staying busy.

That was a close round but I would say that Waylon Cline will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cline shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Cline keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

King looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cline!
Cline explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

King shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cline manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Cline wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cline is looking to break free of the clinch but King has double underhooks.
King jumps guard but Cline stands there with King around his waist. King gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cline tries to break free but King pushes him back against the cage.
King is trying to stall.
King tries to pull guard but Cline won't allow it.
Cline is looking to take this one to the mat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

King is pressing down on Cline's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cline is holding on for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

King with shots to the head and body - Cline looks very uncomfortable down there.
King has hold of Cline's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cline manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
King lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
King wants to control the pace but Cline is squirming around nicely.
King looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Shame King will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cline tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cline to the ground. Cline escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King is looking to escape.
King tries to roll over but Cline keeps him under control.

King pushes Cline off looking to stand but Cline dives back in and keeps control.

King is trying to pull guard but Cline turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Cline has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by King after a bit of a struggle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cline manages to break the clinch.
Shame King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cline throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
King shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. King showed some decent athleticism there.
Cline on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

King tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cline knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

King passes the guard and advances to mount!

King wants to finish this one by submission but Cline is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from King.
King lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cline hang on?
Cline is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Cline might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
King scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cline is trying to stand.
King goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cline turns into him and now he's in King's guard.
King is looking to cinch up a triangle. Cline throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to King's body to avoid the submission. King has instead reached around Cline's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! King arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
