Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Querido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark has chosen Iron Man as his entrance music. Tony Stark is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Querido gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stark fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Stark drags the fight down to the ground.
Querido wants to control from the top but Stark keeps moving.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Querido accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Querido is fighting to break Stark's control of his arms but Stark is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Stark pulls Querido in close to his closed guard and prevents Querido from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stark has his foot on Querido's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Querido works his way back into a safe position though.

Stark isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Querido stacks Stark on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Querido!

Stark is trying to control Querido's posture but Querido avoids it.
Querido tries to score with some ground and pound. Stark controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

BOOM! Querido connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Querido pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Querido lands a big elbow.
Stark tries to hold on but Querido postures up.
Querido breaks from Stark's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Querido is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Stark has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Stark is trying to escape the mount.
Querido wants to control the pace but Stark is squirming around nicely.

Stark defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Querido.
Stark tries to lock up and control but Querido gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Querido's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kevin Querido is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Stark shoots for a double leg takedown but Querido sprawls well. He's pushed Stark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stark moves out of range as Querido strikes.
Stark has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Querido finds it's way round the side to connect with Stark's head.

Stark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Querido is looking to regain half guard here but Stark keeps moving and retains side control.

Stark has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Querido is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stark yanks on the arm and Querido is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stark.
