The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson shoots in and gets a takedown into Ryder's guard.
Tyson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ryder wants to stand but Tyson is controlling the position.

Tyson gets to his feet. Ryder looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Tyson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ryder wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyson is looking for a kimura but Ryder is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tyson to get the leverage.

Tyson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ryder to get to his feet.

Tyson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ryder tries to avoid it but Tyson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ryder to the ground. Ryder escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tyson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ryder sprawls well initially but Tyson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ryder wants to stand back up but Tyson manages to pass into side control.

It looked like Tyson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
