The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mubanga gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ackley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mubanga tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mubanga escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ackley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Mubanga is trying to pull guard but Ackley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Mubanga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ackley's guard.

Mubanga keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ackley's head.

Mubanga drops back looking for a leg! Ackley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ackley manages to kick Mubanga off! Mubanga jumps back into Ackley's guard.
Mubanga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ackley has a closed guard, preventing Mubanga from standing up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ackley has momentary wrist control but Mubanga slips an elbow through the middle.
Mubanga wants to control from the top but Ackley keeps moving.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mubanga shoots in for a takedown but Ackley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mubanga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ackley tries to avoid it but Mubanga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ackley to the ground. Ackley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ackley misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Mubanga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mubanga.
Ackley tries to counter by closing the distance.
Mubanga clinches with his opponent.
Mubanga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ackley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mubanga.
Mubanga shoots in but no luck this time.

Mubanga feints with a jab and clips Ackley right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Ackley is sent crashing into the canvas and Mubanga leaps in for the kill! Ackley tries to get to his feet but Mubanga is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Ackley is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bupe Mubanga!
