Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cletus Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landry comes to the cage accompanied by country boy. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've been informed that Yuudai has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Landry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yuudai was well out of range. Poor timing from Landry.
Yuudai lands with a kick to the ribs.
Landry lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Landry darts in looking for a takedown but Yuudai gets double underhooks and turns Landry into the cage.
It seemed like Yuudai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Landry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yuudai circles away quickly and effectively.
Landry throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Yuudai goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Yuudai takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Yuudai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Landry throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yuudai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yuudai slips a straight right by Landry.
Landry throws a lazy right hand but Yuudai sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yuudai throws a big counter head kick but Landry avoids it with no problem.
Landry shoots in but Yuudai avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yuudai swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Landry bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yuudai's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Landry closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yuudai circles away.
Yuudai throws a fast counter high kick but Landry manages to duck under it in time.
Landry takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That was a close round but I would say that Cletus Landry will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Oooooh!!! Yuudai has knocked Landry down with a huge combo! Yuudai steps away and waves a wobbly Landry back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Yuudai drops Landry with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Landry! Yuudai dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
