Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mycroft Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hysse Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Berg or perhaps it was just good defense by Holmes, which made it look bad.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Holmes as he jumps to the side.
Berg keeps the fight on the outside.
Holmes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Berg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holmes as he avoids it easily.
Mycroft Holmes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hysse Berg.
Berg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holmes manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holmes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Berg shoots for a takedown but Holmes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Holmes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Holmes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Berg is just riding it out for now. Holmes eventually gives up the hold.

Berg has his foot on Holmes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Holmes works his way back into a safe position though.

Berg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holmes's guard.

Holmes looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Berg has picked Holmes up and slammed him! Holmes can't keep hold of the triangle and Berg manages to pass to side control!

Holmes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Berg has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holmes has managed to get both his arms back between Berg's legs - danger averted.

Holmes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berg on the ground.
