This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 4 losses; Alphons Draclau! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Mr Ward!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

Ward has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Draclau!

Draclau is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Draclau stops Ward from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Ward controlling the position easily from mount.

Draclau tries to improve his position but Ward has taken his back! Ward has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Draclau tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Ward pushes Draclau away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 10:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mr Ward!
