Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Very Rounded!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bato Dela Rosa!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rounded tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dela Rosa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dela Rosa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rounded using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dela Rosa has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Dela Rosa has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rounded regains guard immediately.

My spies in 3Band MMA ($500/week) inform me that Dela Rosa has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Well Dela Rosa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
