Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jay Eukaryotes and Frank Elliason. The crowd seem to be enjoying Elliason's choice of entrance music: Dr. Dog - "Warrior Man". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Jay Eukaryotes ! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Frank Elliason!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Elliason closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eukaryotes to the mat! Eukaryotes manages to get full guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Eukaryotes (0) vs (2) Elliason
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Eukaryotes controls Elliason momentarily but Elliason frees himself.
Eukaryotes pulls Elliason in close to prevent any damage.
Elliason controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Elliason trying to control the position from guard on top but Eukaryotes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Elliason seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Eukaryotes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Elliason manages to get himself to full guard.

Elliason controls Eukaryotes momentarily but Eukaryotes frees himself.
Elliason is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Elliason is on top in guard.

Elliason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Elliason stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eukaryotes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eukaryotes is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Eukaryotes goes for a cartwheel guard pass here but Elliason does a handstand and catches Eukaryotes in mid air with a triangle! Could it be? It is! It's the triple decker pecker wrecker! The fighters land on the ground with Elliason on top - Eukaryotes is already out from the submission! Elliason gives Eukaryotes 's pecker the obligatory post submission twist and this one is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall over! Are you kidding me! That is world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. That guy is my hero!
