Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dom Wicliffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dee Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee Bag is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dee Bag!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wicliffe scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bag in his tracks.


It looks like Dee Bag has been cut.
Wicliffe thows a body shot but no joy.
Wicliffe dodges the punch combination from Bag.
Wicliffe throws a series of punches but Bag moves out of range.
Wicliffe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wicliffe drops Bag with a right and a left! Wicliffe comes rushing in but Bag regains his composure and manages to keep Wicliffe in guard.


Bag is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wicliffe pushes down on Bag's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Bag looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Wicliffe controlling the action here.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bag manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Bag tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wicliffe postures up.
Wicliffe controlling from the top position.
Bag looking for a sweep. Not yet Bag, not yet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Bag looking for subs off his back but Wicliffe has passed one foot through into half guard.

Wicliffe stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bag to get to his feet.
Wicliffe just misses with a punch to the body.
Wicliffe misses with a double jab

and Bag counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wicliffe won't be happy with that.
Bag tries to stand but Wicliffe controls the position and pulls Bag into his guard.
Bag wanted to stand there but Wicliffe had control of the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wicliffe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bag's guard.
Bag looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Wicliffe gets to his feet - Bag follows without any prompting.
Wicliffe tries to bum rush Bag with a series of wild strikes but Bag uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wicliffe swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Bag makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Wicliffe thows a left - swing and a miss!
No joy there for Bag, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wicliffe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bag avoids the body shot from Wicliffe.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wicliffe lands a slapping body shot.
Wicliffe falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bag counters with a three punch combo that has Wicliffe backing up. Wicliffe nods at Bag to acknowledge the strikes.
Wicliffe looks to score with a jab to the body but Bag is just out of range.
Some wild striking there from Bag.
Bag moves out of range as Wicliffe strikes.
Bag dodges the punch combination from Wicliffe.
Bag throws a nice looking combination but Wicliffe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wicliffe is looking to wear down Bag with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bag throws a right and a left that Wicliffe avoids nicely.
Wicliffe misses with a combination

and Bag counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wicliffe wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dom Wicliffe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dee Bag's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Bag slips a straight right by Wicliffe.
Wicliffe throws a big shot that misses.

and Bag counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bag forces his way into half guard.
Bag trying to mount his opponent but Wicliffe defends it.
Bag trying to control the action but Wicliffe is working from the bottom.
Bag slows the pace down in half guard.
Wicliffe is not content to let Bag control the position.

Bag looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bag trying to mount his opponent but Wicliffe defends it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bag looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bag is trying to control the action in half guard but Wicliffe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wicliffe misses with an uppercut. Bag saw that one coming.

Bag tries for a takedown but Wicliffe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bag lands with a straight right. Wicliffe didn't see that one coming.
Bag misses with a combination
and Wicliffe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bag lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bag.
Wicliffe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bag counters with a left and a right that stings Wicliffe.
Bag with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wicliffe throws an overhand right that lands on Bag's shoulder, as Bag tries to avoid the shot.
The fighters circling - Wicliffe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wicliffe misses with a low kick as Bag jumps back.
Bag blocks a jab.
Bag throws a combination. Wicliffe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wicliffe throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bag moves into the clinch.
Wicliffe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bag tries to pull guard but Wicliffe holds him up against the cage and eventually Bag drops back down to his feet.

Bag pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bag fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dom Wicliffe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dee Bag.
Wicliffe cracks Bag with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Bag closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bag swings around for an armbar but Wicliffe sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bag's guard.
Bag is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bag had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wicliffe is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bag Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wicliffe's back instead.
Bag punches the canvas rather than the man.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dee Bag showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Dee Bag's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Wicliffe misses with a combination
and Bag counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bag works over Wicliffe's head and body with a nice combination.
Wicliffe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bag sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bag moves away from the strike by Wicliffe.
Wicliffe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wicliffe looks to land a combination but Bag avoids it well.
Wicliffe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Wicliffe throws an overhand right that lands on Bag's shoulder, as Bag tries to avoid the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bag wants to clinch.
Wicliffe throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bag counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wicliffe's guard now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bag drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wicliffe dives on top into guard.

Bag looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bag lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wicliffe!
Wicliffe sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Bag trying to control the action but Wicliffe is working from the bottom.
Wicliffe desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Dee Bag has got the better of the ground game so far.

Wicliffe is trying to stand up here but Bag is controlling him well.

Bag is stalling here. Wicliffe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bag seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wicliffe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Bag regains half guard.
Wicliffe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bag keeps working.
Bag gets full guard.
Bag lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wicliffe!
You get the feeling that Wicliffe really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bag throwing strikes here but Wicliffe is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Bag is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Bag misses with a wild combination.
Wicliffe shoots and misses

and Bag counters with a takedown into side control.
Bag trying to control the position but Wicliffe is working away.

Bag is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wicliffe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bag tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wicliffe's legs.

Dee Bag comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bag has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
