Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Socha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Karl Socha was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones connects with a nice looking jab.
Jones moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Socha connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
A slow jab from Socha misses its intended target.
Socha throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Jones on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Socha swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Socha! But no joy.
Jones throws the left hand but Socha avoids the punch easily.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Socha circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones looks for the body kick but Socha saw that one coming.
Jones tries to clinch but Socha moves out of range.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Socha.
Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Socha.
Socha with a jab.
A big left from Socha misses.
Socha smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Socha slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Socha scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Socha avoids it really well and circles away.
Socha takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Socha uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Jones slips under a jab.
It looked like Jones wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Socha is rocked!
Karl Socha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Socha takes one to the chin there.
Socha is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones is pawing at Socha, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Socha's nose. Socha is badly hurt! Jones pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Socha tries desperately to hold on but Jones is relentless in his assault! As Socha receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jones away and this one is in the books!

In his post fight interview, Leandro Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
