Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Sandusky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Sandusky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edgar Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandusky fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gonzalez feints the counter takedown.
Sandusky definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gonzalez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Sandusky has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Gonzalez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Sandusky has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gonzalez off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The crowd are getting on Gonzalez's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Sandusky tries to break the clinch but Gonzalez is controlling the position.

Sandusky can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gonzalez controls the pace.

Sandusky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gonzalez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well Gonzalez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
