Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarrett Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pulover Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulover Teixeira will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jarrett Coffey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pulover Teixeira!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira shoots in for a double leg but Coffey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Teixeira cracks Coffey with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Jarrett Coffey has been cut.
Coffey misses with a head kick.
Teixeira blocks a jab.
Teixeira dives in for a single leg takedown but Coffey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Coffey clinches up against the cage.
Teixeira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Coffey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jarrett Coffey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pulover Teixeira.
Coffey can't find room to land a body shot as Teixeira controls the action.

Coffey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Coffey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Coffey looks to throw the jab but Teixeira is out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Teixeira. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Teixeira.
Coffey really is a fat lump.
Teixeira fails with a takedown attempt.
Coffey appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Teixeira rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Coffey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Coffey.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Coffey stands up and waves to Teixeira to follow him.
Pulover Teixeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Teixeira gets tackled into the cage by Coffey. Coffey maintains the clinch.

Coffey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Teixeira throws a lazy body kick

and Coffey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Coffey.
Coffey has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Coffey stands and steps away. Teixeira gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Teixeira drops Coffey with a beautiful combination! Coffey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Teixeira is looking for the KO!

Coffey is rocked!
Coffey takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Oh Coffey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Coffey is breathing heavily.
Coffey is holding his hands too far apart here. Teixeira throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Coffey is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pulover Teixeira!
A relieved looking Pulover Teixeira thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
