Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duster Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duster Bender has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Nash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 15 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Duster Bender!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash connects with a body shot.
Nash lands with a nice body punch.
Nash throws a shot to the body.
Nash waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bender.
Bender throws a head kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Nash on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bender looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like Duster Bender has been cut.
Bender explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Bender misses with a two punch combination.
Nash scores with a decent looking hook.
Nash throws a lazy right hand but Bender sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nash definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bender slips under a jab.
Nash misses with a hook.
Bender takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bender is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bender misses with a double jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nash. Bender does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nash throws out a loose jab but Bender uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nash thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nash throws a hook to the side of Bender's head but Bender sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bender slips under a jab from Nash.
Nash takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bender uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nash.

Bender is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nash's half guard.
Nash is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bender works his way into full mount!
Bender trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Nash really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Nash has given up his back here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nash wants to control his opponent's hands but Bender gets his hands free.
Bender doesn't have the hooks in and Nash manages to turn into his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nash trying to control but Bender is working from the bottom.
Nash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bender swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bender has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Nash wants to get up but he can't break Bender's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bender avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Nash trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bender looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nash is one step ahead there.
Nash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bender on the ground.
Bender avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Nash stopping the sweep attempt from Bender.
Nash showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Bender bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nash's guard.

Nash controls Bender momentarily but Bender frees himself.
Nash is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bender is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Nash dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Duster Bender's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Some wild striking there from Bender.
Bender fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nash throwing a counter right hand but Bender manages to avoid it.
Nash scores with a shot to the body.
Nash lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nash lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Nash feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Benders jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jack Nash is winning the standup battle so far.
Nice sprawl there from Nash as Bender shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nash lands with a hook. Bender tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nash works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.


That has opened up Duster Bender's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bender throws a sloppy head kick
and Nash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Bender is rocked!
Nash throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bender is still on wobbly legs! Can Nash finish him?

Nash with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Bender seems to have recovered his senses.
Bender ducks under a wild hook from Nash.
Bender darts in trying to clinch
and Nash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nash stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nash wants it to stay on the feet.
Jack Nash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duster Bender.
Nash is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
and Nash counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Bender! He's just covering up as Nash starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Nash!
