Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uncle Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armas Kuusisto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico doesn't manage to clinch there - Kuusisto circles away.
Rico bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kuusisto's head.
It looks like Armas Kuusisto has been cut.
Kuusisto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rico circles away.
Kuusisto takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kuusisto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Uncle Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kuusisto gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Kuusisto wants to work for an arm triangle but Rico is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kuusisto tries to pass to full mount but Rico defends it.
Kuusisto wants to control but Rico is keeping him busy.
Kuusisto has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rico tries to lock up and control but Kuusisto gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kuusisto prevents Rico from getting the reversal.
Kuusisto is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rico has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rico!
Rico wants to stand but Kuusisto is controlling his posture from full guard.
Rico gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Rico throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rico misses with a wild combination.
Rico misses with a two punch combination.
Rico thows a body shot but no joy.
Kuusisto fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kuusisto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rico as he avoids it easily.
Uncle Rico has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Armas Kuusisto.
A left and a right from Rico both land. Nice combination.
Rico misses with a wild combination.
A combination from Rico does no damage.
Kuusisto walks into a stiff left hand from Rico.
Rico lands a lovely overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rico ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kuusisto looks gassed!
Kuusisto takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That has opened up Armas Kuusisto's cut even more.
Kuusisto slips under a jab.
Nice body punch from Rico.
Some wild striking there from Rico.
Nice defenses there by Kuusisto.
Rico lands an overhand right.

Rico lands a really nice looking cross but Kuusisto seems unphased.
A head kick misses from Kuusisto.
Kuusisto dodges the punch combination from Rico.
Rico rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kuusisto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kuusisto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rico.
Kuusisto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rico's waist but Rico gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kuusisto off to one side.
Rico lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Rico looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice uppercut lands for Rico. That snapped Kuusisto's head back.
The cut above Armas Kuusisto's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A jab from Rico finds it's way through Kuusisto's defenses.
Kuusisto has a takedown stuffed.
Rico lands a with a good body shot.

Kuusisto needs to keep his hands up - Rico had a free shot at his head there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuusisto moves out of range as Rico strikes.

Rico keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rico tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kuusisto was well out of range. Poor timing from Rico.

Kuusisto dodges the punch combination from Rico.

Armas Kuusisto's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kuusisto wants to land a leg kick but Rico is out of range.
Rico looks to score with a jab to the body but Kuusisto is just out of range.
Rico lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rico.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Armas Kuusisto's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
