Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shabazz Shabott!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Licinius stuffs the takedown attempt from Shabott. Shabott gets slowly back to his feet.
Shabott fails with the takedown.
Shabott tries to clinch but Licinius is having none of it.
Shabott doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Licinius counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Marcus Licinius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shabazz Shabott.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Licinius, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shabott tries for a takedown but Licinius circles away easily
and Licinius counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Licinius seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Licinius looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Shabott throws out a counter right but Licinius avoids it with no problem.
Shabott tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Licinius swivels and escapes.
It looked like Licinius was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Shabott fails with the takedown
and Licinius counters with a nice body shot.
Shabazz Shabott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shabott looks winded!
Shabott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Licinius avoids it really well and circles away.
Licinius appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shabott looks for a takedown but Licinius sprawls well.
As Shabott looks to move away, Licinius throws a big counter combo but Shabott just gets out of the way.
Shabott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Licinius as he jumps to the side.

and Licinius makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Licinius. Those never looked like landing.
Licinius lands a left and a right that send Shabott crashing to the mat, dazed. Licinius thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Shabazz Shabott has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Licinius connects with the punch.
Shabott is rocked!
Marcus Licinius is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Some wild striking there from Licinius.
Licinius sets himself, and Shabott steps forward looking for the clinch! Licinius avoids it this time.
Licinius lands a big right hook! Shabott looks hurt but is still standing! Licinius lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Shabott falls down and Licinius dives in with a huge hammer fist! Shabott's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Licinius runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
