The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tortellini has time to react.

Tortellini shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Tortellini's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tortellini's head backwards.

Jeez, Squidward Tortellini's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Tortellini swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd cheers as Jackson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tortellini doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
