Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erick Rowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Finn Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erick Rowan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Finn Vos!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos throws a right and a left that Rowan avoids nicely.
Rowan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rowan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vos lands a head kick. Rowan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Nice body punch from Vos.

Vos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rowan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Vos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Rowan lands a couple of decent looking shots.

It looks like Finn Vos has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rowan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vos's head.
Rowan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rowan trying to control the position from guard on top but Vos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rowan postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rowan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Vos told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Vos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rowan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rowan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Vos is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Rowan drops back looking for a leg! Vos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vos manages to kick Rowan off! Rowan jumps back into Vos's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rowan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Vos manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rowan has Vos in his guard.

Vos landing some decent shots from guard.
Rowan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Vos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rowan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rowan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rowan doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Vos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Rowan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vos stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Rowan throws up his legs and catches Vos in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Vos tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Rowan! That came out of nowhere!

A less than humble Erick Rowan misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
