Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Zamana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary - Tupac. Zamana has chosen Modestep - Show Me A Sign as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamana fails with the takedown
and Gonzalez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zamana thinking.
Zamana has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gonzalez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gonzalez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zamana.
Zamana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gonzalez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gonzalez appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Gonzalez has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Zamana changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gonzalez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gonzalez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zamana defends well.

Gonzalez pushes a forearm under Zamana's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zamana is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

A very excited looking Nick Gonzalez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
