Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Machado's waist but Machado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fulton off to one side.

Machado half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Machado fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fulton sprawls well initially but Machado persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Machado is trying to control the action in half guard but Fulton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Fulton trying to hold on to Machado's head to control him but Machado postures up.
Fulton pushes Machado off looking to stand but Machado dives back in and keeps control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fulton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Machado is looking for a kimura but Fulton is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Machado to get the leverage.
Fulton won't allow Machado to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Machado is trying to work for a kimura but Fulton is defending well.

Machado is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fulton is just riding it out for now. Machado eventually gives up the hold.
Machado is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Machado prevents Fulton from standing back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Machado lands a nice short elbow.

Fulton pushes Machado off and gets back to his feet.
Machado keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Marcos Machado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Fulton.
Fulton shoots in and drives through. Machado sprawls well.
Fulton shoots in looking for a takedown. Machado tries to sprawl out of it but Fulton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Machado manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fulton is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Machado is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Machado breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fulton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Machado avoids it really well and circles away.
Fulton shoots in and drives through. Machado sprawls well.
Fulton shoots in but no luck this time.
Fulton fails to land the takedown.

Machado displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fulton.
Fulton shoots in for a double leg but Machado sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Machado feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Machado arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Fulton's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
