Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Bordel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leoncio Gendozo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gendozo has chosen Stand By Me, Ben E King as his entrance music. Leoncio Gendozo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leoncio Gendozo!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gendozo misses with a straight left.
Gendozo moves in looking to clinch but Bordel pushes him off.
Bordel feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gendozos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Leoncio Gendozo has been cut.
Bordel lands a head shot.

Bordel moves into the clinch.
Bordel wants to take the fight to the mat but Gendozo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gendozo is looking for a takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gendozo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Gendozo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bordel prevents it.

Bordel manages to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bordel wants to get back to his feet but Gendozo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gendozo stands up over Bordel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Gendozo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bordel is looking to regain half guard here but Gendozo keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gendozo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bordel some visible discomfort.

Gendozo stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Bordel ducks straight into an uppercut from Gendozo and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Bordel manages to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Raphael Bordel has been cut.
Bordel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gendozo on the ground.
Bordel is breathing heavily.
Bordel keeping moving, preventing Gendozo from controlling successfully.

Bordel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gendozo is controlling him.
Gendozo wants to control from the top but Bordel keeps moving.
Bordel could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bordel scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bordel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gendozo in his tracks.

Gendozo waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Bordel. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Bordel to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Bordel is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gendozo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Oh Bordel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gendozo arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Bordel's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Leoncio Gendozo!
After winning the bout, Leoncio Gendozo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
