Springfield is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Traditional Fools - Street Surfin'. Aspen Springfield has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springfield misses with a leg kick
and Sarkisyan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sarkisyan just misses with a punch to the body.

Springfield's coach down at Rio Rough House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Springfield's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Springfield tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sarkisyan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oooooh!!! Sarkisyan has knocked Springfield down with a huge combo! Sarkisyan steps away and waves a wobbly Springfield back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Springfield is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Sarkisyan doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Springfield crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Springfield's bad books for that mishap!
