Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Menace Defoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Defoe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bodies. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

McKenzie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Defoe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McKenzie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McKenzie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Menace Defoe will probably get the nod.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McKenzie might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Defoe has got the better of the exchanges.

Defoe throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on McKenzie's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Defoe dives in looking to finish as McKenzie flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Defoe's strikes! Defoe is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! McKenzie's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McKenzie was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
