Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anderson Collins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reaper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Collins napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Collins is trying to get back to his feet.

Reaper is looking to take a break and control but Collins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Collins drops back, looking for a kneebar! Reaper looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Reaper looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Reaper!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Collins is looking for a sweep. Reaper is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Collins wants to stand and escape but Reaper is having none of it.

Collins has his foot on Reaper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reaper works his way back into a safe position though.
Collins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Reaper wants to control from the top but Collins keeps moving.

Reaper lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Reaper postures up and lands a big shot to Collins's brow.
Reaper slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Collins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reaper manages to get himself to full guard.

Reaper drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Reaper seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Collins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Reaper lands with a kick to the temple. Collins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Reaper has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Collins is trying to push Reaper away but Reaper has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Collins stands up over Reaper, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Reaper is looking for a triangle but Collins pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reaper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Collins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Collins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Reaper takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Collins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Reaper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Collins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Reaper decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Collins, up you get!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Collins takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Reaper moves into range and clinches up with Collins.

Reaper manages to break the clinch.

Reaper rushes Collins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chris Reaper is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Reaper has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
