Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Francisco Modesto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Modesto comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire. Soares has chosen Black Sabbath - Iron Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modesto slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Soares darts in trying to clinch
and Modesto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Modesto closes the distance and clinches.
Modesto misses with a body punch.
Modesto lands a hook that snaps the head of Soares backwards.

Soares is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Modesto can't fight it off and eventually Soares manages to take the fight to the floor. Modesto looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
