Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burrhus Frederic Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Beast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Burrhus Frederic Skinner!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinner stuffs the takedown attempt from Beast. Beast gets slowly back to his feet.
Skinner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Skinner lands a head kick that stumbles Beast and the fighters go to the mat.


Beast is rocked!


It looks like The Beast has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skinner is looking to stand up but Beast won't let him.
Oh Beast is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beast is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Beast seems to have got his legs back now.
Skinner passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Beast tries to bench press Skinner off him but Skinner keeps the position.

Skinner is looking to clinch but Beast is avoiding it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Skinner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Beast paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Skinner connects with a nasty looking knee right to Beast's face.
Skinner tries a knee to the head but Beast blocks it.

The Beast's cut is getting worse.

Beast tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Skinner just stands there and leans against the cage.
Skinner lands an elbow that stopped Beast in his tracks for a moment.
Skinner tries to land knees in the clinch but Beast avoids the damage to the body.
Beast is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Beast wants to take a breather but Skinner manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Beast.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Skinner is pulling down on Beast's head. It's preventing any offense from Beast, at least for the moment.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Beast fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Skinner sprawls well initially but Beast persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Skinner is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Beast pulls his head out easily.
Beast is tying to control. Skinner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Beast looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Beast is taking a breather. Skinner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Beast changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Skinner tries to avoid it but Beast manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Skinner to the ground. Skinner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Beast shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Skinner as he avoids it easily.

Beast darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Beast working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Skinner is staying active underneath Beast, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Skinner is trying to stand up here but Beast is controlling him well.

Beast wants to control the pace but Skinner is squirming around nicely.

Beast can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Skinner is looking to escape.
Beast lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beast has hold of Skinner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Skinner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Skinner takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Skinner is trying to escape the mount.
Beast is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Beast lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Beast breaks from Skinner's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Skinner is squirming around, avoiding Beast's attempts to control the action.
The Beast has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Skinner keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Beast lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

And that's the end of the fight!
The Beast showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Skinner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
