Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pulover Teixeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulover Teixeira has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Clifton Hale's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clifton Hale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pulover Teixeira!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teixeira tries to sprawl but Hale drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Teixeira manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Hale has Teixeira up against the cage in a clinch.
Teixeira is trying to force a seperation but Hale has the dominant position.
Hale has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Teixeira is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Teixeira wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hale jumps guard and drags Teixeira to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Teixeira is working Hale over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Teixeira tries to stand but Hale is controlling from the bottom.
Hale wants to sweep here but Teixeira controlling him for the moment.
Hale is working hard here to advance position.

Hale has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Teixeira has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Hale has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Teixeira clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Teixeira wants to escape the position.

Hale is persistently looking for the submission but Teixeira is defending it well.

Teixeira manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.

Hale clinches up with Teixeira and pushes him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Teixeira can't get the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teixeira is trying to break the clinch but Hale has him pressed against the cage.

Teixeira pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hale clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Teixeira's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Teixeira manages to break the clinch.
Hale fails with the takedown.
Hale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Teixeira dives in and grabs Hale's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hale pushes down on Teixeira's head and hops out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hale shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Teixeira's guard.

Hale decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hale throws a nice looking combination but Teixeira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Teixeira lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Teixeira shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Clifton Hale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pulover Teixeira.
Teixeira misses with a right hand

and Hale counters with a shoot takedown. Teixeira fights it but they end up in guard.

Teixeira scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Teixeira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hale defends it nicely.
Hale tries to counter by clinching up but Teixeira breaks away and moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hale misses with a hook

and Teixeira counters with a crisp one two that drops Hale! Teixeira thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hale to his feet! Hale is in big trouble!

Hale is rocked!
Hale shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teixeira sprawls well. Teixeira wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hale gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Hale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Teixeira closes the distance looking for a takedown. Teixeira picks Hale up and slams him brutally to the floor. Hale is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Pulover Teixeira!
