The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kampmann blocks a head kick by Pol.
Kampmann throws an off balance right hand
enabling Pol to counter with a crisp jab.
Pol jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pol cracks Kampmann with a right hand to the side of the head.
Pol tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kampmann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kampmann moves into the clinch successfully.

Pol's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pol looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kampmann is one step ahead there.
Kampmann is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pol is looking to stand up but Kampmann isn't so interested in that idea.

Pol is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pol throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pol throws a head kick but Kampmann moves out of range.

It looks like Van Pol has been cut.
Pol ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kampmann moves away.

Kampmann looks to land a left hand but Pol moved out of range nicely.

Pol feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kampmanns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A jab from Pol finds it's way through Kampmann's defenses.
Pol has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Pol tries to clinch but Kampmann moves away
and Kampmann counters with a low kick, right behind Pol 's knee.
Kampmann looks to land a combination. Pol sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Pol avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pol swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kampmann cracks Pol with a good jab.

and Kampmann counters with a crisp right that sends Pol to the canvas! Kampmann follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
