Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Broderick Brickstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pony Pony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Broderick Brickstock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pony Pony!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brickstock blocks a head kick by Pony.
Brickstock appears to be looking for a big counter.
Pony connects with a high kick.


It looks like Broderick Brickstock has been cut.
Pony has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brickstock is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pony throws a lazy body kick
and Brickstock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Pony Pony has been cut.
Pony throws a head kick that misses
letting Brickstock counter with a right hand.
Pony tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pony connects with a single shot there.
Pony throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Pony tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brickstock swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Pony lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brickstock's sensitive parts.
Pony swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A quick step to the side and Brickstock tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pony. Brickstock shrugs it off though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brickstock throws out a loose jab but Pony uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pony lands a head kick that bluckles Brickstock and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Pony no doubt looking to push for a finish!


Brickstock is rocked!
Pony fakes the leg kick and cracks Brickstock in the body.
Brickstock avoids a punch combination nicely.

Pony lands a front kick to the face, that drops Brickstock to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!


Broderick Brickstock's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brickstock tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A head kick misses from Pony.
Pony cracks the inside of Brickstock's front leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brickstock walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pony.
Pony misses with a few strikes there.
Brickstock was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pony lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brickstock circles away quickly and effectively.

Pony uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Pony throws a nice outside leg kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Pony.

Pony lands a front kick to the face, that drops Brickstock to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
Oh Brickstock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pony lands a nice looking kick to the body. Brickstock takes a step back to recover.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brickstock drops his hands momentarily and Pony needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Brickstock just on the top of the head. Brickstock drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Brickstock - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pony Pony!
