Wiremu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Billy Joel - The River of Dreams. Aloysius Wiremu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemkov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch combination from Nemkov misses.
Wiremu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wiremu missing with a left hand there. Nemkov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Wiremu throws a jab but it's blocked by Nemkov.
Wiremu lands with a slapping head kick.
Nemkov throws a body kick that misses.
Wiremu connects with a right hand. Nemkov shakes it off.
Nemkov throws an overhand right that lands on Wiremu's shoulder, as Wiremu tries to avoid the shot.
Nemkov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wiremu's half guard.
Well, if Nemkov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Wiremu moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Nemkov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wiremu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nemkov advances to half guard.
Nemkov is looking to advance position but Wiremu won't allow it.
Wiremu is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Nemkov jumps into side control!
Nemkov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
An elbow from Nemkov crashes against the mat.
Nemkov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nemkov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wiremu, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sloppy strikes there by Nemkov.
Nemkov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Nemkov in side control lands a decent elbow.
Nemkov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wiremu defending against the ground and pound.
Nemkov in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Wiremu is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

A relieved looking Oleg Nemkov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
