PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between crash punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think punch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to in the end. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by punch. That's going to slow Gracie down.

punch closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard.
Gracie wants to control the position but punch says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Gracie trying to control from the bottom.
punch wants to stand but Gracie has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
punch is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer.
punch is stalling here. Gracie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! punch seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gracie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Gracie tries for a kimura but punch is defending well.
punch is not content to let Gracie control the position.

punch gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Gracie is looking to work his way around to punch's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Gracie wants to control the pace but punch is squirming around nicely.

Gracie working for a submission but punch is keeping him at bay.
punch has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
punch just trying to survive but Gracie is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

punch tries to escape the position.
punch rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
punch flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
punch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. punch is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
