Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Palmer Spears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spears is defended easily by Jones.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Spears manages to get himself to full guard.

Spears has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jones decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Spears changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
