The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capmany has his takedown stuffed
and Partridge counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Capmany dives in and grabs Partridge's left leg, looking for a takedown. Partridge pushes down on Capmany's head and hops out.
Capmany feints and as Partridge raises his hands in defense, Capmany changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Capmany drops back looking for a leg! Partridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Partridge manages to kick Capmany off! Capmany jumps back into Partridge's guard.
Partridge keeping full guard, as Capmany tries to pass.
Partridge can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Capmany controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Partridge tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Capmany sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Partridge's guard.
Capmany wants to pass the guard but Partridge is defending well.
Capmany is working for a submission of some sort.
Partridge is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Partridge can do anything to dispel that myth.
Capmany is taking a breather. Partridge says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Capmany is trying to control. Partridge wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Capmany is working for a kimura but Partridge is defending it quite comfortably.
Capmany keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Capmany is working for a guillotine from mount but Partridge frees his head quite easily.
