PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and zakk wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that zakk wylde was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
wylde closes this distance looking for a takedown but Little circles away.
wylde shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Little as he avoids it easily.

Little closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming wylde to the mat! wylde manages to get full guard.
Little stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. wylde swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Little wants to control from the top but wylde keeps moving.
Little will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Little is pushing down on wylde's leg trying to pass to half guard. wylde is fighting to maintain full guard but Little has managed to sneak the leg through.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Little will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Little is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Little seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down wylde for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

wylde is trying to drag Little to the mat but Little just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Little has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics wylde uses from the top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
