The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shift tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lewis swivels and escapes.
Lewis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shift pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shift pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lewis keeps the fight on the outside.
Lewis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shift momentarily.

It looks like David Shift has been cut.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses.
Lewis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shift throws the left hand but Lewis avoids the punch easily.
Shift tries to clinch there but Lewis circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Lewis as Shift shoots in.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shift looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shift with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lewis to score with a decent uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shift is looking to land body kicks.
Shift throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shift shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense.
Jerry Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Shift.
Shift throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lewis counters with a nice uppercut.

Shift is rocked!
Shift changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Shift shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lewis but Lewis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shift misses with a combination
and Lewis counters with a right hand from hell and Shift is out cold! A vicious knockout!
