Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dreck Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Champ Kind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dreck Sharp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kind was covering up waiting for the punch and Sharp finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sharp slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kind looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sharp is one step ahead there.
Sharp wants to control from the top but Kind keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sharp gets to his feet - Kind follows without any prompting.
Kind misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sharp shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kind defends it nicely.
Kind gets a clinch.
Sharp is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kind manages to break the clinch.
Sharp shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A low kick from Sharp is predictable there
and Kind counters with a takedown into side control.
Kind trying to control the position but Sharp is working away.
Sharp tries to buck Kind off but Kind is having none of it.

Kind lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Sharp explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kind shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sharp's guard.

Sharp is looking to escape.
Kind wants to control but Sharp is keeping him busy.

Well, if Kind is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kind trying to pass the guard but Sharp defending well.
Sharp trying to hold on to Kind's head to control him but Kind postures up.
Kind trying to control the pace.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kind trying to control from half guard but Sharp is working away.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Sharp shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kind pinned against the cage. Kind gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kind has Sharp up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sharp breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Champ Kind dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kind stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kind wants it to stay on the feet.
Kind misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kind darts in and clinches Sharp up against the cage.
Kind manages to break the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kind.
Sharp defending against the ground and pound.
Kind really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sharp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kind is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sharp knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kind rushes Sharp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sharp dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Sharp jumps guard but Kind stands there with Sharp around his waist. Sharp gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kind tries to pull guard but Sharp won't allow it.
Sharp tightens his grip and picks Kind up, before dumping him to the ground. Kind manages to land in guard.
Sharp stands and steps away. Kind gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kind shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sharp napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Sharp throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sharp tries for a takedown but Kind sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kind throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sharp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kind is in Sharp's guard.
Sharp is wriggling around but Kind manages to pass to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kind is working for a submission of some sort.
Kind stalling.
Kind missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Kind wants to pass the guard but Sharp is defending well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sharp moves into full guard.
Sharp is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kind is staying active underneath Sharp, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kind wants to get back to full guard but Sharp has passed into side control.
Sharp has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Nice takedown defense from Sharp. No joy for Kind on that attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sharp is defended easily by Kind.
Sharp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kind sprawls well. Kind wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sharp gets slowly back to his feet.
Kind follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dreck Sharp will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kind closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sharp has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Kind is on him like a limpet, forcing Sharp back against the cage.

Sharp is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kind pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kind escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dreck Sharp is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kind leaves Sharp with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kind dives in and scores a takedown into Sharp's guard.
Kind stands up and waves to Sharp to follow him.
Kind throws a combination. Sharp tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Kind scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sharp doesn't seem bothered though.
Kind lands with an uppercut that bounces Sharp off the cage and back into range.

Kind swinging wildly here.
Kind is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sharp's half guard.
Sharp is defending against the submission attempts here by Kind.
Kind has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kind lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Kind is thwarting Sharp's attempts to control the position.
Sharp is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kind is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Kind stands up and beckons Sharp to join him on the feet.
Dreck Sharp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Champ Kind is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Champ Kind seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kind closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sharp to the mat! Sharp manages to get full guard.
Sharp wants to get back to his feet but Kind passes into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
Dreck Sharp showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
