The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Cage.
Sousa misses with a takedown
and Cage counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cage defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sousa.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sousa.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felipe Sousa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cage scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Felipe Sousa has been cut.
Sousa tries to close the distance and clinch but Cage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Cage fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sousa tries to move into range but Cage moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Johny Cage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cage lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sousa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cage cracks Sousa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sousa tries to clinch
and Cage counters with a three punch combo that has Sousa backing up. Sousa nods at Cage to acknowledge the strikes.

Sousa is rocked!
Cage drops Sousa with a big left hand! Sousa is injured, injured bad! Cage jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
