With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Green!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Lewis.
Lewis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Green moves forwards but Lewis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lewis slaps away a takedown attempt from Green, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lewis connects with the punch.
Good shot there by Lewis.
Lewis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Green gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lewis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lewis connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lewis lands with a shot to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lewis.
Lewis connects with a nice looking jab.
Green throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Green.

Green closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Green misses with a takedown
and Lewis counters with a nice uppercut.
Ray Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Green.
A good leg kick by Lewis.
Nice body punch from Lewis.
Lewis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Green looks winded!
Lewis cracks a nice hook into Green's ribs.
Lewis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Greens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Green doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lewis digs a good body shot into Green's ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Green.
Green takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Lewis scores with a hook to the body. Green takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lewis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Green.
Lewis scores with a body shot.
Green takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lewis.

Lewis throws a left that rocks Green and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lewis dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Green regain composure!

Green is rocked!
Lewis works to advance to full mount. Green defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Green is still in real trouble! Can Lewis finish him?
The referee warns Green that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lewis controlling the position easily from mount.
Lewis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Green's face.
Lewis content just to control the position here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lewis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lewis lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Lewis! Green is hurt baaadly! Lewis is firing away with more strikes - Green is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
