Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benito Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Zelenoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zelenoff connects with an inside leg kick.
Madden moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Zelenoff lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Zelenoff fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Madden.
Zelenoff pushes Madden away with a front kick.
Zelenoff scores with a hook.

Zelenoff throws a head kick that misses.
Madden misses with a straight left.
Zelenoff fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Madden has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Zelenoff buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Charlie Zelenoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Zelenoff clinches.
Zelenoff throws a punch but it's blocked by Madden.
Zelenoff tries a body shot but Madden blocks it.
Zelenoff tries to throw a body punch but Madden avoids it by throwing Zelenoff back against the cage.

Zelenoff swings wildly with an uppercut but Madden uses good head movement to avoid it.

Madden closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zelenoff's guard.
Madden is working Zelenoff over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Madden postures up and lands a big shot to Zelenoff's brow.

Madden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Zelenoff wants to control the position but Madden says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Madden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Zelenoff wants to get back to full guard but Madden has passed into side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Zelenoff is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Madden is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Zelenoff looks winded!
Madden postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zelenoff looks a forlorn figure.
Zelenoff wants to control but Madden is having none of it.
Madden lands a couple of good shots and Zelenoff has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Madden is cranking Zelenoff's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Zelenoff! He's tightened the choke and Zelenoff is tapping out!
