Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isaiah Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerome Smith struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maxwell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maxwell keeps the fight on the outside.
Maxwell smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Maxwell shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maxwell is working for a guillotine from mount but Smith frees his head quite easily.

Maxwell has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Smith is defending well but eventually Maxwell manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Smith has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
